Prof. Chong collaborated with Dow Agrosciences LLC and Pudure University, and Hong Kong University of Science & technology in molecular biology. He obtained NSFC funding as a distinguished young scholar. He was enrolled as a national member of "New Century Hundreds and Thousands of Talents Project". He was also the national correspondent of the International Association of Plant Biotechnology and the president of the chromosome genome protein branch of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology. He has published more than 60 papers on national journals, such as Cell、 Nature Communications、PNAS、EMBO J、Plant Cell etc.
