　　Dr. Chen Dong-fang received his BSc in Shanxin University, and MSc in Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology, and PhD in Cambridge University. Afterwards has been working as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at De Montfort University (UK) for some years before moving to Syngenta to lead the genetic transformation facility for 8 years. Since 5 years ago he moved to chair the Firmenich's Natural Product R&D Center (Shanghai). Firmenich is the world's second largest producer for fragrant compounds.
